Assistant Account Executive

Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and updating project timelines
  • Maintaining internally distributed resources.
  • Preparing written content for consumer promotions
  • Managing communication with clients, legal organizations, vendors, manage consumer communications on behalf of clients
  • Investigate new distribution methods and shopper marketing channels staying abreast of new trends and platforms
  • Interface with creative department

Requirements

  • Sales promotion, advertising, marketing, or related work experience required, CPG or shopper marketing experience would be ideal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel is a must
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Must be highly organized, and a self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy are critical

Project Manager/Account Executive

Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Avid Marketing Group is a 29 year old (and growing) shopper marketing/sales promotion firm that is focused on the consumer goods industries. We are seeking a dynamic, professional Project Manager/Account Executive to help manage our existing and new clients. Our Project Manager/Account Executive’s role will be to serve as primary project manager for existing accounts and as new business is added to the portfolio. You will have day to day responsibility over a select number of existing accounts. You will be responsible for managing the “day to day” process of projects moving forward, as well as assisting with brand strategies on behalf of clients, traffic management of jobs and program elements. You will serve as primary account manager on a limited number of existing clients, focusing on client communications, day to day service, production coordination, timelines and billing. You will support new business development as overall project coordinator for any initial new business projects.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage the “back office” for the business development team including the agency’s primary account management tool, Filemaker
  • Coordinating with the creative manager, creative development for all new and existing client business under your responsibility
  • Ensuring timely and accurate billing for your clients

Requirements

As an Account Executive, you must have at least 5 years’ experience in shopper marketing promotions and knowledge of how brands move from store shelves to consumers. You must have experience with communication strategies and tactics that facilitate brand to consumer dynamics. You must have point of sale production experience in both digital and traditional areas. We are looking for an ambitious individual with previous agency or client side experience in consumer packaged goods; beverage experience strongly preferred.

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; PowerPoint/Excel and social media (SEO/SEM) and digital promotions
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Account Manager

Avid Marketing Group is a 30 year old marketing and sales promotion firm servicing some of the world's best loved consumer brands. We have a core competency in the shopper marketing arena, specifically with pre-store and in-store sales promotion, in digital, mobile and traditional print mediums.
We're seeking a dynamic account manager with a strong, impactful background to join the AMG team. You'll oversee multiple clients and inspire your team to deliver best-in-class shopper solutions.

  • Develop killer creative briefs that inspire the internal team to deliver breakthrough ideas and impactful creative executions. This includes being the internal brand steward to ensure all deliverables are adhering to guidelines and meet the program objectives.
  • Drive the day-to-day business and present Avid's work in a confident and persuasive manner.
  • Lead and develop team members by coaching, training and identifying areas of growth. You're known for your ability to inspire and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate effectively.
  • Expertise in the digital world – you keep a pulse on what's happening, and you'll offer insightful recommendations on how businesses should adapt accordingly.
  • Oversee the financial health of the business by setting forecast goals and measuring profitability.
